Electric Villages Inc. is a Bronze Award winner in the 2009 Summit Creative Award. The winning entry, the CIBC Mellon 2009 Calendar, was selected for the Green Marketing award.
Electric Villages strives to make use of environmentally friendly processes and this award is a testament to the commitment to the environment that Electric Villages fosters.
Made from 100% Post-Consumer Recycled Paper, the Calendar is produced with a net reduction of waste, including 21.19 trees preserved, 27.75 kg of waterborne waste not created, 34,070 litres of wastewater flow saved, 889.49 kg net greenhouse gases prevented, and over 15 million BTUs of energy not consumed.

The organization conducts the Summit Creative Award, the Summit Marketing Effectiveness Award and the Summit Emerging Media Award. The 2009 Competition is the 15th year for the creative awards and this year included submissions from 26 countries.
