CIBC Mel­lon 2009 Cal­en­dar Selected for the Green Mar­ket­ing Award

Elec­tric Vil­lages Inc. is a Bronze Award win­ner in the 2009 Sum­mit Cre­ative Award. The win­ning entry, the CIBC Mel­lon 2009 Cal­en­dar, was selected for the Green Mar­ket­ing award.

Elec­tric Vil­lages strives to make use of envi­ron­men­tally friendly processes and this award is a tes­ta­ment to the com­mit­ment to the envi­ron­ment that Elec­tric Vil­lages fosters.

Made from 100% Post-Consumer Recy­cled Paper, the Cal­en­dar is pro­duced with a net reduc­tion of waste, includ­ing 21.19 trees pre­served, 27.75 kg of water­borne waste not cre­ated, 34,070 litres of waste­water flow saved, 889.49 kg net green­house gases pre­vented, and over 15 mil­lion BTUs of energy not consumed.

This is our 5th year pro­duc­ing this pres­ti­gious Cal­en­dar and each year we are able to posi­tion CIBC Mel­lon as an out­stand­ing cor­po­rate cit­i­zen in a unique and cre­ative way.”
